Is smoking allowed?
No, the common areas and the rooms are non-smoking, in order to respect guests who will come after you. There is the possibility to smoke on the kitchen balcony where you will find an ashtray at your disposal.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. by taking an appointment at least one day before the arrival day, so everything will be ready on the arrival.
If you arrive before check-in time, you can leave your luggage waiting for check-in time by agreeing it in advance.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Can I check-in outside the scheduled time?
Yes, it is possible to check-in outside normal business hours, on request agreed in advance.
For check-in between 8 p.m. – 12 p.m., there is a 20 EUR extra fee.
Have all rooms a private bathroom?
Yes, each room has a private bathroom with a shower.
Only two rooms have their own private bathroom outside the room, just few steps from it.
Is the property accessible by disabled people?
We are on the first floor and the building does have an elevator and a ramp for wheelchair access but unfortunately the guesthouse and bathrooms in the rooms do not allow convenient access to disabled people, we are sorry.
Are prices per person or per room?
The prices indicated are per room.
Overnight tax is 3.50 EUR per person per night.
Is Wi-Fi available in the structure?
Yes, Wi-fi is available in all rooms and common areas for free.
What amenities has the room?
Each room has a set of linens and bath towels that are changed every 3 days of permanence. There is also a courtesy set with soap and shower gel, a hair dryer, a Led TV, a mini fridge, a safe and air conditioning /heating (in addition to radiators).
The room is also equipped with a kettle with everything you need to prepare a good tea.
How can I get there from Roma Termini train station?
Very easy and close! Only 3 metro stops!
Inside Termini station you will find in the lower level respect to the tracks the metro line A (red line). Take it direction “Anagnina” and get off at “San Giovanni” station.
Once out the metro station, pass the arches and reach San Giovanni square, keeping the Coin shop on your left.
Once in San Giovanni square, on your right there’s Viale Carlo Felice, easy to identify because it is the street with trees and tram #3 track. Walk for 300 meters and you will find us at number 89.
How can I get there from Fiumicino airport ?
You can reach us taking “Leonardo Express” train (ticket costs €14 per person), or “Terravision” bus service (ticket price €4 per person).
Both connect you to the main station “Roma Termini” where you can take metro line “A” (red line) direction “Anagnina” and get off at “San Giovanni” station (ticket costs 1.5€ per person).
Of course you can also take a taxi, the most expensive option but comfortable. The cost up to Sleeping Beauty (located within the Aurelian walls) has a flat rate of €48.
How can I get there from Ciampino airport?
You can take the “shuttle bus” (ticket costs €4 per person) or “Terravision” bus (ticket costs €4 per person).
Both will take you to “Roma Termini” central station where you can take metro A (red line) direction “Anagnina” and get off at “San Giovanni” station (ticket costs 1.5€ per person).
You can also take a taxi, the most expensive option but comfortable. The cost up to Sleeping Beauty (located within the Aurelian walls) has a flat rate of €30.
Are rooms enabled with Air-Conditioning?
Yes, of course! Air conditioning is provided in every room.
Can I pay with credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard, but having high fees we ask as much as you can to make payments in cash.
Can I leave my luggage the day of departure?
Of course, if there are no reservations for the check-out day we’ll leave you to use the room until you need.
If you cannot leave them in the room, we remind you, however, that in Roma Termini station you will find official luggage storage at affordable rates.
Where is Sleeping Beauty guesthouse?
We are in Viale Carlo Felice 89, in the heart of San Giovanni district, right in the center of Rome.
Few steps from the imposing and historic San Giovanni (St. John) Basilica,  we are well connected to every places thanks to the near “San Giovanni” metro station, tram and bus lines.
From Sleeping Beauty you can easily reach all the most famous tourist destinations, the most popular places, diners with typical Roman dishes and enjoy the most important monuments of the world.
How can I get there by car?
From G.R.A. highway (A90 – E80), taking exit 23 direction Appia-Centro (midtown) always straight for 11 Km or taking exit 14 toward “Tangenziale EST San Giovanni” at the end of the ring road you will end up a short distance from the Guesthouse.

In Viale Carlo Felice street you can park within blue park lines paying a fee, or close to our hotel there is a guarded parking lot.
